Oasiria is Morocco's first and most established water park. Spread across 10 hectares of lush gardens with over 500 plant species, the park delivers a beautiful setting of century-old olive trees, palm groves and pools. With 11 slides, 15 attractions and 8 pools — including Africa's largest wave pool — Oasiria offers a complete water park experience in genuinely impressive surroundings.
The park also features an Italian restaurant, several snack bars, and a free shuttle service from Jemaa El Fna and Guéliz. The atmosphere leans upmarket and relaxed, with plenty of shaded areas where parents can unwind while children enjoy the Pirates Lagoon or the Kids Club (ages 6-12).

Oasiria operates a free return shuttle service from the city centre:
The park has 5 restaurants including an Italian restaurant, snack bars and drinks stands. Both Moroccan and international dishes are available. Food quality is well above the typical water park standard.
Best arrival time: 10am on the dot, as the gates open. Two reasons: sun loungers go fast, and queues for the popular slides (Black Hole, Kamikaze) stay short until around 11:30am. Arriving at noon means you are already facing queues.
Crowds: Mid-July to end of August is the busiest period. Wednesdays and Saturdays see the most visitors (groups and local families). If you have a choice, aim for a Monday or Tuesday in May, June or September — the park is almost empty and the experience is far better.
Best season: May-June and September-October. The heat is pleasant without being overwhelming, the park is open and queues are manageable. July-August offers the most sunshine but also the most crowds. The park is closed from November to late March.
Oasiria is located at Km 4 on the Route d'Amizmiz, approximately 8km from Marrakech city centre (Guéliz).
Oasiria is one of the most family-friendly water parks in Marrakech for young children. Here is what you need to know:
| Category | Condition | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | Height > 1.50m | 290 DHS (approx. €26) |
| Child | 0.80m to 1.50m | 190 DHS (approx. €17) |
| Free | Under 0.80m | Free |
| Moroccan resident | With national ID card | approx. 250 DHS (approx. €23) |
Locker hire approx. 25 DHS. Prices subject to change — check oasiria.com for the latest. All euro figures are approximate at 1 € ≈ 11 DHS.
After 10 years living in Marrakech, Oasiria is still my benchmark water park — and it is not close. What keeps me coming back every year is the combination that nothing else in the city can match: a wave pool that has no equivalent in Africa, 10 hectares of stunning gardens with century-old olive trees, and a free shuttle from the city centre. This is a park that was built to last, not just to pull in tourists.
The thing most people overlook is the food. The 5 restaurants (including the Italian) are genuinely good — well above the usual water park canteen. You eat well, at fair prices. The leafy grounds also let you park the kids in the shade for a few hours without everyone melting in the heat.
The one honest downside: in peak July-August on a weekend, the crowds are real. Popular slides like the Black Hole and Kamikaze can have 20-minute queues. My advice: pick a weekday in May, June or September. You will practically have the park to yourselves, and the experience is on another level. Overall rating: 9/10 — the best water park in Marrakech, full stop.
Adult ticket: 290 DHS (approx. €26). Child ticket (between 0.80m and 1.50m tall): 190 DHS (approx. €17). Children under 0.80m enter free. Moroccan residents get a discounted rate of approx. 250 DHS (approx. €23) with their national ID card.
Yes, Oasiria runs free return shuttles from Jemaa El Fna (in front of the Koutoubia Mosque) and from Guéliz (Grande Poste, Avenue Hassan II). Departures from 9:30am to 3:15pm, returns at 5pm, 5:45pm and 6:30pm.
No, Oasiria is open April to October only, 10am to 6pm. The park is closed in winter. The best time to visit is May-June or September-October to avoid the peak crowds of July-August.
Arrive at opening time (10am): sun loungers are all taken by 11:30am in high season. Weekdays are noticeably quieter than weekends. Avoid Wednesdays and Saturdays in July-August if you want shorter queues.
