Location

Practical Tips

As a hotel resort, Rose Aquapark Hotel manages crowds very differently from a public water park. Pool areas are reserved for hotel guests, which ensures a notably calm atmosphere even during peak season.

  • Best time to visit: Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–October) offer pleasant temperatures without the intense heat of July–August. The heated pools mean you can enjoy the water even out of peak season.
  • Arrival time: Sun loungers are in high demand in summer. To secure one with a parasol, head to the pool before 9:30am. Outside summer, competition for spots is much lower.
  • School holidays: During Moroccan and French school breaks (July–August, Christmas, Easter), the hotel is generally very busy. Booking several weeks in advance is strongly recommended.
  • Winter: This is one of the very few places in Marrakech where you can comfortably swim in December or January, thanks to the heated pools. Perfect for off-season relaxation breaks.

Getting There

Rose Aquapark Hotel is ideally located in the Hivernage district, right in the centre of Marrakech.

  • On foot from Jemaa El Fna: 10 minutes. The easiest option for guests staying in the medina or nearby riads.
  • By taxi: From anywhere in the city. From Menara Airport (approximately 5 km), the journey is short. Make sure the meter is running or agree a price before you set off.
  • By car: Free private parking on site — a significant advantage in this central neighbourhood.

With Children

Rose Aquapark Hotel works well for families with children, bearing in mind that the aquatic facilities are on the modest side (4 slides, paddling pool). This is not a large-scale water park like Oasiria — it is a hotel resort with an integrated aquatic area.

  • Paddling pool: A shallow area suitable for very young children.
  • Kids' club: Supervised activities for children, leaving parents free to enjoy the spa.
  • Water slides: 4 slides suitable for children. For a wider slide selection, Oasiria (11 slides) or Labranda Targa (4 slides including the Twister) are worth comparing.

Prices & Tickets

Access to the aquatic facilities (pools, aquapark) is included in the room rate for hotel guests. No day-pass price is published on this page. For up-to-date rates and any available offers: see our Marrakech water park prices guide or contact our concierge service.

Thibaut's Verdict

I've spent a lot of time in Hivernage since moving to Marrakech, and Rose Aquapark Hotel fills a very specific niche: the central resort with heated pools. If you're looking for a big water park with spectacular slides and giant wave pools, this is not it — head to Oasiria instead. But if you want to stay in the heart of the city, visit Bahia Palace in the morning, and soak in a heated pool in the afternoon with a mint tea in hand, this hotel is hard to beat for that particular brief.

The spa and hammam are genuinely good quality. Being 10 minutes on foot from Jemaa El Fna removes the taxi logistics entirely — no small thing when you're travelling with children. The trade-off is that 4 slides will be exhausted quickly by thrill-seekers.

My advice: book it for a 2–3 night city stay focused on Marrakech itself, not as a pure water park trip. That's where it delivers the best value-for-experience ratio. Overall rating: 4/5 for what it is — a well-located hotel with very good heated pools.
